HW_09 Daniel Castiblanco

For the creatures, the theme I wanted to explore was the corruption caused by the villainess having stolen Morrigan's power, which gives a start to the Great Famine and corrupting the spirits in the realm of the gods. With that in mind, the first six designs would be of the regular enemies. The first three are more humanoid as the souls of the victims of the Famine come to possess the elements of the Spirit World (Which is why one has a scythe that would be a farmer's tool), and the more souls are contained in these elements, the stronger the enemy.

Number 7 and 8 would be the guardians of the herbs after being enslaved and turned into monstrosities by the villainess. Number 9 could either be another mini-boss like the guardians or another form of the villainess, maybe more feral and close to being defeated. 10 and 11 are designs for the creature form of the villain which would represent Morrigan's shape-shifting abilities but in a dark way, combining the animals that represent both goddesses (the crow for Morrigan and the snake for the villainess).
Number 12 would be the spirit animal of Morrigan as a being of light in contrast to her sister. An issue I'm having with this one is how to not make it look like just a bright bird but also not changing its characteristics that much that it makes her look monstrous.
