Village
Chakam is the descendant of the royal family of the Mayan empire, but what he considers his home is the small village where he was born. The houses in this village are mostly built above the water, with the main economic activity being fishing, and the materials are usually wood and straw, apart from Chakam’s family’s house which also has stone and the hull of a ship from a shipwreck from another part of the world. As the village is right next to the sea, it has watchtowers to protect the Mayan empire from threats coming by water.
