Game: 3rd person rpg
Setting:
High Fantasy with magi-tech setting is renaissance/medieval with some technological
elements.
Characters
Alys (Jason):
Son of the usurped king, assemble a small band of talented rebel warriors to
end the tyrannical Pelias reign. But he must first manage to steal Pelias
sword, a magical weapon capable of mass destruction. Jason wear a more standard
style of medieval armor with no helmet. The high quality of his armor betray
his past status.
Pelias:
Usurper to the throne, Pelias allied himself with the mysterious Exals a race
of all powerful being controlling the world like it is their playground. The
Exals gave him a powerful blade and access to technology that surpass what was
thought possible at the time (magitech) so that he could conquer the world for
them. Pelias wears a massive ornamented armor, whose style is slightly
influenced by the Exals technology.
Media: Exal
who took a human disguise to approach Alys, one of the rare Exal who feel
empathy for the humans and couldn’t telerate Pelias tyranny anymore, she decide
she would help Jason in his quest to remove the king from his throne. She gives
Alys an amulet that can be used has a powerful protective barrier 5 times.
Exals
(gods): The Exals may seem all powerful to humains but they are in fact an
alien race that use their superior technology to control the fate of the world.
Their technology has an organic look to it.
Creatures
Talos: Mechanical
monstrosity created with the knowledge Pelias gained from the Exals. The Talos
protects Pelias’ blade when he isn’t using it to wage war on neighbor nations.
Harpies: Twisted
mix of humain and bird result of Pelias scientist team experimenting with Exal
knowledge. The Harpies are the scouts of the empire and have eyes all across the
kingdom.
Props and Vehicles
Tyrfing (Golden
Fleece): A greatsword forged by the Exals so that Pelias may easily tale over
the world. It holds great destructive power capable of cutting threw armies in
a single swing. (In the legends Tyrfing is a cursed shining blade made to eventually
kill its owner sign that the Exals plans to betray Pelias one day.)
Argonaut: Alys
air ship (or plane?) was a gift from his father before he was killed by Pelias,
the ship ship is rather small, made for manoeuvrability above combat or long
voyage, it has very limited firepower. Can contain around 15 people at max
capacity.
Amulet: A
token given to Alys by Media, the amulet can be activated to generate a
powerful protective field around the user and his close allies.
Environments
Land of
Giants: The giants were the only ones with the power to oppose the Exal
dominion and they did until the last one of them fell. Their past great
civilisation is now ruins among great valleys created by the impact of the
Exals weapons, this war happened century ago and slowly the land of giant is
healing, recevoring touches of green among the ruins of this lost civilisation.
Pelias
Palace (Calcus Palace): A great castle above a mountain overlooking the city.
Traces of Exal influence can be perceived.
Tyrfing’s (Golden
Fleece’s) location: Deep beneath the palace of Pelias lies a chamber where
Tyrfing rest when not causing untold destruction.
