HW4 RaulAS Aku Ville( Organic architecture)

 Creative Design, Aku Ville

Aku's home town is a textbook example of Neo-New Age philosophy for architecture in the Karth culture.

It is also a good example of their culture in terms of how to organize the living space for small and medium size communities.

It follows a circular arrangement of the different areas of the town depending on the purpose which are placed in concentric rings.

Houses and private properties are arranged in the exterior, with public open spaces between the rings, while city services institutions and public buildings are located towards the center, with the local government buildings in the middle.

The architecture and design of the city follows a very similar philosophy of the Organic Architecture philosophy of human culture in the 20th century.

Both promote harmony between the habitation and the natural world. This is achieved through design approaches that aim to be sympathetic and well-integrated with a site, so buildings, furnishings, and surroundings become part of a unified, interrelated composition.
