-Organic architecture shapes of some buddist Indonesian Architecture

Assets:

Sahorah (female Jason) is a head strong adolescent with a strong sense of faith. That can when necessary rally her crew for the cause and reigniting the faith they once lost. Although she doesn’t know it at the start, as she feels the influence of the winds, she starts to get a solid sense of her destiny, to lead and re-instill faith in the people of Aaor.

Zephula (female Pelias) is manipulative in nature, believing her cause is righteous and feels like any actions no matter how cruel justify the ends. Feeling constantly felt her people were short changed by the Gods, usurping the elder throne in her eyes, was the only option.

Meduk (Medea) is a passionate scholar of the Erolos people, tasked with studying the ancient Gods and Spirits to use their secrets and relics for their own benefit.  The more he discovers about the Gods and Spirits the further he strays from the Erolos, making his decision to help Sahorah easier.

Wind Rider (Argo): The wind rider uses harnessed energy from the gods to fly through the air, through inflating balloons that allow it to float and sails to help push through the sky. Inspiration from Hot air balloons, non-rigid blimps, and maybe the frame of a boat.

Celestial Totem (Phineas’ Amulet): This totem was a strong ancient relic of the 2 celestial beings of the West and the East who spent eternity fighting manifesting as an undying celestial storm separating the west and east. The totem when used as an offering, causing a separation in the storm, allowing the Wind Rider to pass.

The Winding Horn (Golden Fleece): This horn was buried directly with the wind God who carried it. Said to be able to call upon the wind Gods for immediate intervention. Its value is priceless to any civilization who can wield it.

Imprisoned Gargon (Talos Giant Statue): These spirit creatures are imprisoned by the Gods, petrified in the crystalized sap of the Yaga tree. The gorgons are a vicious giant creature almost impossible to kill, leading the Gods only option being to imprison them.

Har’puks (Harpies): These creatures indigenous to the Termula island. Carnivorous airborne creatures who have a taste for human flesh.

Yaga Tree Island(Giants island): Home of an ancient tree spirit of the Yaga, a densely vegetated forest, with sap dripping from roots. Environment reference from dense indian jungles.

Erolos Palace (Caucus Palace): Due to the Erolos people being proud and strong, their architecture is more grand and overpowering.

Gods Mausoleum (Location of the Golden Fleece): An ancient Mausoleum built for the burial of one of the Wind Gods, built in a traditional style with a more organic feel, built with the underlying mountain shape in mind. With heavy ornamentation similar to ancient Indian Architecture.

Long Form Story

The Aaori were a spiritual civilization who worshiped the Ancient Wind Gods, believed to be the driving forces of creation and destruction. They relied on the Gods for good harvests, prosperity, manifesting through the pushing and pulling of clouds. They believed the wind was responsible for the flow of energy in the world. And that when things went awry, it was those going against the will of the Gods.

Sahorah’s father, Razuya, was the Elder of the Aaori people, leading through the guidance of the Gods. Helping the Aaori people thrive and live in a spiritually chaotic world. Razuya’s sister, Zephula was tired of living a life without agency, at the whim of the Gods. She saw a brighter future for the Aaori people. Usurping the Elder throne, killing Razuya and his family. Before she could kill Sahorah, her mother placed her in a small wind balloon and let her loose. As she was floating through the air, the Gods intervened and guided her balloon until it landed by a group of nomadic Sages. They accepted their calling to raise Sahorah as being a task given to them directly by the Wind Gods. As Sahorah grows up, the sages teach her of the rich history of her people and their way of life. Telling her about how famine, death and disease has struck the Aaori people since the death of her father.

While she was growing up, she was always drawn back to the city of her birth, although the sages made it forbidden. She finds it is her destiny to restore the balance of the Aaori people and set them back on the path of prosperity and flow.

At the age of 19, she returns to face her Aunt who sits on the throne. Before reaching the citadel. She sees the faith of the Aaori people has dissipated and there to be little to no hope of returning to the days of old, feeling like the old ways are gone without the faith. She remembers the sages telling her of a special relic. A horn of the Wind gods, found in the land of the great east, a temple on the highest mountain said to be the burial place of one of the wind gods.

On her way out of the city, Sahora looks high and low for some people to help her get to the east. With no luck, she settles at a local watering hole for a drink before heading home. She ends up finding some local for-hire warriors in search of a score. With some connections, they go to the best builder in all of Aaor, someone whose faith has not faltered to build them a Wind rider capable of making the harrowing journey. Prior to leaving, the sages warn Sahora about the undying cosmic storm separating the east and west.Tell her that they must first get to the island of Terumla, that the only object capable of getting them past the storm is there. They take off in the direction of Termula, hoping the wind is blowing in their favor.

As they are running out of power to fuel, coasting over the vast oceans, they end up descending and crash landing on an island. Noticing the demon idles on the island. Sahorah recognizes this must be the island the Gods used to enslave ancient giant creatures in the sap of the Yaga tree. Sahora warns her crew to only take what they need to repair the wind rider, to not disturb the resting place of any ancient relics or any wildlife. Some crew members, not caring, break some wood off some trees to hasten the repair. The disturbing of the resin caused the waking of one of these creatures. The creature being asleep for millions of years, extremely aggravated and hungry, attacks the crew. After Sahora is forced up a tree, she jumps down on the creature's back and plunges a dagger into the only soft spot of the creature, killing it.

Once the wind rider is repaired, they need to make their way to the island of Termula. The island is a very barren volcanic wasteland. There they meet a bored trickster demon, Phi’luya who has a habit of messing with the humans that visit his island to keep entertained. He said he would give them the wind totem after passing his three tests. The last of which is going to the heart of the island and getting rid of the Har’puks that keep stealing the humans he wins fair and square.

Airborn once again, they approach the storm, hoping the totem is still working. Sahora activates the totem. Calling on the celestial gods to clear a path through the storm. Once past the storm, they can see the tips of the mountains through the morning fog.

They then reach the great mountains of the east. Sahora and the Crew are surprised by the civilization they found, thinking mountains would be tranquille. The Mountains of the east were home of the strong people of Erolo. Whos demeanor was of order and pride left little space for faith in Gods. A young scholar, Meduk who they ran into while he was collecting some herbs, decides to help them steal the Winding Horn from the Erolos King, Eraliuk. They go undercover as travellers when visiting the King. Unknowingly, Eraliuk taunts Sahorah unknowingly, prompting her to reveal her identity and motives. Outmatched, they run through a secret path with the help of Meduk to get to the burial temple where the Winding Horn is located. Once retrieved, they use the horn to defeat the Eraliuk and escape back to the Wind rider.

Major Themes:

Flow vs. Control: The idea of controlling one's destiny contrasting to the idea of taking things into your own hands.

Destiny: Sahora needs to restore balance to Aaor people and set them back on the path of prosperity and flow.
